I need/want to go somewhere.
I can shout shout ‘bus wankers’ at people standing at the bus stop
My dad threatened to disown me one time about 20 years ago when I wanted to upgrade my freewheel on my Marin Hawkhill because he said it was a waste of money.
Now I can upgrade my freewheel as much as I want… except no, because I don’t have that much money.
I’m making up for never being taught as a kid. I’ve now been riding for 3 years and I’ve never felt more free. I’m 24.
Because chicks dig skinny roadies with no fat, no upper body and a demented obsession with calorific input/output. I hope!
It’s the only fun way to offset the sheer volumes of food I consume

… because I’m lazy! I like being able to arrive at the door of my destination and not have to wait for the bus. I also like to save money and by bike is the cheapest way around. I feel so much happier spending money on bike upgrades than a monthly travel ticket!
…it transforms the mundane. I show up at work healthier and happier and tread lighter, too.
I bike because I love to eat…hahaha, true but so many more reasons as well. Freedom, solitude, fitness, self-powered, Camaraderie and so much more.
I ride simply because it makes me happy. Riding a bike is soooo much fun.

Just because
I used to ride my bike for the heck of it. I haven’t ridden for awhile because of an injury, but I REALLY want to bike again! It’s also good for the environment, and I love the environment! :)
