Cycling is the most energy efficient mode of transport I know of, its not just that though. Cycling has provided myself and my partner with a new (to us) option for holidays. I ride because I love it, I ride because it helps me get fitter, I ride because sue (my partner) loves it. says it all really :-D

My dad threatened to disown me one time about 20 years ago when I wanted to upgrade my freewheel on my Marin Hawkhill because he said it was a waste of money.

Now I can upgrade my freewheel as much as I want… except no, because I don’t have that much money.
